This is a little treasure in Galveston that I never knew existed.

I got their early for some coffee and a seat outside with then intention of finishing a book I was close to completing.  The place was pretty busy early on but in an hour or so was crushed with people.

The coffee was great but the vibe of the place and the feel of the space is what really captured me.

Oh my goodness! What an absolutely beautiful little coffee shop!

What attracted us to this place was the outdoor seating; it was plentiful, it was green, and it was pure insta-worthy if you're into all that!

We decided to hop into this place while we waited for the next door antique store to open up. I got the Hotty Totty iced coffee, or something like that, and a slice of pumpkin bread and a banana nut bread.

The iced coffee was good, but it did feel like there was way more ice than there was coffee. Good thing that was my second iced coffee of the day, if not I wouldn't be happy.

The bread was also good, but the banana but bread was not as banana-ey and nutty as I am used to eating, on the other hand I did like the pumpkin bread!

Also, I would like to mention to the staff that the area where the half & half sat, was pretty dirt and I felt a little uncomfortable setting my drink down. If y'all could pop in there and wipe it down on ocasión, that would be nice.

When all was said and done though, I'd definitely come back and try some more stuff and be specific to me light on the ice.

The variety of food and drinks offered at mod coffee house is amazing and can't be beat. The staff are also very kind, even on busy days too.

However, there are other standard elements I expect all coffee shops to have. Another aspect I highly value is the quality of wifi. The internet connection at Mod is absolutely awful, which is why I could not give it a 5 star rating. The connection is spotty, slow, and almost nonexistent. As a student, which composes a large portion of residents in Galveston, I'd highly appreciate it if this could be fixed. Until then, my review will stay as it is.

Great place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee.  The brewed coffee was organic.  Major plus for me as I only drink organic coffee.  If you are looking for a nice coffee spot, look no further.

Love the cappuccino here and wish they opened earlier but then I'd go everyday. The place reminds me of all the cool
Coffee shops in Los Angeles. Thankful for Mod because if the choices, nice staff, community vibe and music!!
